
Ivan Pavlov's Classical Conditioning Theory
Classical conditioning is also sometimes referred to as Pavlovian or respondent conditioning. It is a theory founded by Russian psychologist Ivan Pavlov. In simple terms, classical conditioning happens when two stimuli are paired together to create a new behaviour in a person or an animal.
